[For Sale] 2015 Discovery 4 HSE with s/s
So here it is… my beautiful Discovery 4 2015 HSE with s/s (Registered April 2015, no ad-blue) in Corris grey with black leather. I have recently changed jobs and have a new company vehicle, and as much as I would love to keep the disco, after much dispute with the mrs… she’s got to go to a new home (the disco that is !).
It is an HSE spec (will take it that most members / anyone looking to buy on the forum will know what equipment you get with HSE trim level…) with the addition of 20” Landmark wheels, privacy glass, black styling (rear lights etc), boot mat and tow-bar.
X4 new Pirelli Scorpion Verde all-season tyres in January 2020 (c.£1,000).
Bodsy (well-known forum member and mechanical whizz) mega-flush of the transmission, front and rear diffs, and transfer box in January 2020 (£470).
New stop/start battery in March 2020 (£100).
Service history – JLR to 2018 (warranty period), Independent garages 2019 and 2020 (last service April 2020 @ 60k miles).
Current mileage – 67,173 (may go up a little).
I purchased the vehicle in September 2019 (my 5th LR) and had planned on keeping it for a fair while (hence spending the money on mega flush etc.). In my hands it has been very well looked after and is a real stunner (see photos). Yes, there are a few small stone chips at the front, couple of scratches, a tiny carpark door dink and some very light flaking on the edge of the alloy, but it is a 5-year old car with 67k miles…
PLEASE NOTE that this car was declared Cat S in 2018, and this is the reason for the low price. BUT, as you will see in the photos, the damage which led to the insurance write-off was cosmetic damage caused by heat – as this vehicle was unfortunate enough to be sat at a JLR dealership (I think the previous owner said it was Stafford JLR) when a fire took hold. The insurers wrote off any vehicle with damage (however minor it may have been) as this was the policy and JLR don’t want to be dealing with it. You can see in the photos that the driver’s side wheel arches, door handles and rear light were distorted, the rear quarter window broken and the lacquer discoloured – all of which have been replaced and the paint work restored (seems very harsh to write off a 3-year old disco HSE for such minor damage – but that was the JLR insurance policy).
Price is £19,000 OVNO
Think I have covered off everything above. Any questions please ask on here or call my mobile – 07939 805390. I am based in South Gloucestershire near to Cirencester.
Thanks, Chris

Nice looking car.
