My D3 has a brake light issue. Drivers side I was I thought blowing bulbs. Changed two before I realised they were t blown they just weren’t making a contact all the time. Sometimes if you smack the rear lamp it comes on again. I have cleaned all the fitting. The wiring looks good. I’ve pulled the terminals up and sprayed in contact cleaning fluid. I put it back together and it all works fine. Day or so later people telling me I have a bulb out.....
Can I change the bulb holder by joining a new one into th existing wiring? Is there a rear light loom section that can be bought? It’s driving me nuts. Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

I pulled the contacts up, cleaned and sanded it all. Used brand new bulbs. May just get one cut out the loom of a breaker and solder it on. Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007
