Car hesitant to shift up - Tyres??

Evening all

My D3 is hesitant to shift up.

Since I got it, its had a bit of a mix of tyres on it which I need to swap around once this weather changes.

On the front it has a Scorpion zero and a P Zero

Could this be enough do we think to make it believe its cornering and then not change up?

Been doing some reading...

Cheers

All the tyres need to be the same size and have very simular tread depths. You cant just replace two tyre on these cars.
But this wont effect the engine just the traction control

If your D3 has different rolling radius wheels/tyres (certainly on the same axle) it will pick this up and not change up.
But no doubt if you stick it in "command shift" it will.
It's a safety thing. Thumbs Up

Correct! I had a similar problem with my African Disco.
Making sure all the tyres were the same, and the same wear, brought it back online.
This anomaly stuffed up the gearbox/transmission ECU to the point where JLA Lusaka said I needed a new TC!
They hadn't checked the tyres and my friend looking after the D3 had a tyre blow-out/then change and the tyre was not the same dimensions as the other three!
Once these was recitified and a rest done she was sweet!!
