Maintaining EPB
Hi,
I have recently bought my first Land Rover (Discovery 3). I did have a look at issues before I bought it so was expecting to have to get some bits sorted out.
The handbrake Squeals a bit when Applied so I haven't been using it at the moment. I have heard people saying about get it checked\adjusted regularly. What needs checking\adjusting? Is it something that a Novice DIYer could do?
Also does anyone know of any garages in the Swindon area that know Land Rovers? (for the bigger jobs that are out of my comfort zone).
I like the thought of being able to get basic stuff done myself so have tried a few small bits. I am hoping that my confidence will grow and allow me to do more myself as I read more about these sort of things.
Thanks for any help.
Paul

I think the setup worked. I haven’t given it a full test due to limited time, but did the adjustments and the handbrake doesn’t make a noise and holds the car. I will drive it and check again during the week to confirm to myself. Thanks for the help.
