My D3 and it's list of jobs.
So I picked up a D3 SE in the love it or hate it Vienna Green a couple of weeks back now.
I knew it needed some love and I'm gradually getting bits ticked off.
Jobs done already:
* New sidelight bulbs
* New brake lights
* Greased turbo actuator arm
* Repaired rear seat release
* Repaired 3rd row lever covers
* Repaired tailgate cable
* Rebuild AV port
Jobs to do:
* New N/S CV Boot (luckily it doesn't need a full Driveshaft)
* Full engine service
* Diff and TF box oil change
* Polly bushes
* New turbo pipes
* New front fogs
* Clock on dash
* 4x4 screen
The car had a refurbished engine only 31k ago as well as a new turbo, water tank, injectors, and Gearbox flush. Overall I'm happy with the car, just need to sort the Driveshaft asap as I'm worried it will die very very soon.

Nice colour
I would check out the threads on polybushes before you start fitting them.

I will do, I'm not 100% on them yet just need something that's up to the job long term.
And thank you about the colour, it really suits the car to be honest.

So I called my local indi to see if they could get the car in faster as the Driveshaft was sounding like metallic death on every corner but they are slammed. He suggested I try to re grease the split CV till it is due to go in next week.
So popped to the local parts shop and grabbed some CV grease, poked some new grease in the split CV, wrapped it in some heavy duty plastic, two cable ties, and then wrapped it in a load of Gorilla tape. Took it for a spin and after 3 corners the joint is no longer clicking like mad.
It's far from professional but it only has to wait til next week before it gets a new boot, one more quick fix done.

Well the car is in today for its service, new turbo/intercooler pipes, bushes checking, CV looking at, Clock on Dash, and 4x4 info.
Hopefully they can diagnose the whoosh too o and they are also fitting new wheel nuts.
