Blocked rear washer jet
Anyone got any tips to unblock my rear washer jet? I've tried searching "rear washer" on here but no joy. It's been like that since I got it six months ago and looking at it, it seems that someone has tried a fix as there is a rubber gasket around it that has been pulled a bit loose. Just hope its not a "first dismantle your tailgate" reply to get rid of a bit of s e in me pipe.

It's not all bad news, maybe.
From what i can tell from looking at this (due to fit mine, but too cold for curing the bonding agent).
2 shows you the top comes off the trim and 14 is showing the washer hose being connected to the section of pipe in the spoiler.
I would imagine that if you remove the top trim panel on the rear door, you may find a joining piece in the washer hose. If not, see if you can source a jointing section (plastic) from local car accessory shop or dealer maybe?
You can then cut the hose, leaving a long enough section for re joining and get a compressor, air line and try blowing from the washer jet back in to the now cut pipe. Hopefully this will dislodge anything blocking the washer jet.
The washer jet has two lugs on the section that is in the high level brake light and need to be pushed together to remove. Which is an impossibility, due the the light being bonded in place and thats why i reckon the rubber seal is showing signs of tampering.ATB

I assume you've tried something as simple as a pin in the jet? Mine sometimes get clogged but I've never had to do anything other than give it a quick poke. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Same problem here
I’ve removed the panel and found the hose. It already has a joint piece in it, so I’m assuming that a previous owner has tried to fix themselves with no joy. I took the joint apart and operated the rear washer but no fluid came out even though the pump is working and there’s plenty of fluid in the washer bottle. I presume that this is a common fault ie blockage or kink in the pipe. Is anybody able to throw some light on this issue for example the location of this fault. I don’t fancy pulling the car apart until I’ve got an idea of what area I should be looking in.If at first you don’t succeed, then maybe skydiving isn’t for you!

You could disconnect the pipe at the pump end and try blowing through it and indeed make sure the pump is actually pumping.
a bit of Milton Sterilising Fluid added to the washer bottle should get rid of any crud that's greowing in the system and blocking pipes.

Also can’t remember where the NRV is
Oh hang on, the nrv is near the rear motor and the other NRVs are by each windscreen washer jet

Also just remembered , I think the wiper is disabled if the tail gate is opened , but don’t know if it also disables the rear washer jet as well ??
Think I read it somewhere , the rear washers only works for around 10 x seconds

So I take it that the none return value for the rear washer is located under the front wheel arch by the bottle and rear motor/pump? Are the none return valves fitted as standard? Obviously if there’s a NRV fitted this would rule out me putting an airline on the joint I’ve found at the rear washer and blowing air back to the bottle at the front, guessing it would just blow the joint open at the NRV.If at first you don’t succeed, then maybe skydiving isn’t for you!
