The beach was a bit busy with this Big camera !
Hi,
away with the Tintent couple of weeks ago and the Beach is normally a good place for a walk with the dog
one morning it was "A bit busier" we had seen a field just up the lane filling up with cars and trucks the day before, even a stable being set up for some horses, Black ones as it turned out
The track over the dunes had security guards, portaloos, and a mobile coffee van so all important stuff covered
and this truck had been doing runs up and down the beach chasing a Black horse or two
think they were there from sun up to well after sunset, a long day for about 50 peeps
Got to make a bit of kit like this earns its keep, 4 seats and each one had its own cameratrickery computer screen.

Looks good Ian, my wife said something came up on her Facebook a couple of days ago about the making of the advert, not sure if it was the same one. They had barriers down the beach to keep the horse near the water as it galloped apparently on its own but in reality with others.
This was the video.

Hi,
yes thats the one
they had 4 or 5 horses, we never saw them running free (behind the barriers) they always had a rider, they had a fence from the dunes right down to the waters edge at one stage
and 5 or 6 peeps running in the waters edge with the horse running behind them and the camera truck splashing along as well
Did not take us long to get a bit and took the dog over the rocks/dunes the opposite way
The kit and peeps involved most add up to many £££££ for an advert

Many moons ago we owned a foal that was fathered by the Lloyds Bank Black Horse who at the time was a Trakehner called Dowlands Cancara. At the time he was one of the highest paid Lloyds employees! Didn’t impress me much as I was an employee too.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Hi,
the Lloyds new advert was on the telly last night and the last 6 seconds is the beach at Newton
sadly no chance of spotting us in the distance,
about 6 seconds of air time and took them 1 full day filming and the set up and pack away a day each side
The whole advert must have took a number of weeks to film it all

You cant beleive the money spent on filming major brand commercials.
We had an urgent request to 3d print a power adaptor and charging base station for a major Automotive brands launch videos for a new car. They paid over 4k to have a new design unit printed and painted to use in the filming, then sent over another set of files and re-filmed sections with another design and edited into the final commercial as they sent over files for a unit that was changed before the launch! The second set was needed within 24 hours so the price was even higher than the first!Must stop buying shiny toys....

Considering the entire advert, I wonder if any sections have the horse added on afterwards... I'm not an expert by any means but a horse at that speed on grass etc tears up the surface and kicks up the ground, which in some places I can't see?

im sure whatever the cost of the advert its peanuts compared to the value of protecting and promoting the brand
especially as they try to repair the lack of trust in the banking industry after the banking fiasco
i wouldnt trust any aspect of the financial sector as far as i could throw then there just all thieves in suits as far as im concerned.. endowment anyone o dear you all lost we didnt shame high risk investment and dodgey loans ,that will do nicely o dear never mind but we still got our bonus and then a nice bale out ..next
