Fuel problems

Right please bear with me as there is a bit of a story behind this.
So it all started off in March this year, my disco decided it wasnt going to go above 50mph/2000revs if it did it went into limp mode. So I took it to a local garage who changed the low pressure fuel pump (which was apparently full of rubbish and the electrics in it weren't working) they also changed the fuel filter which had water in it, all this took 5 weeks to do as they struggled to get hold of parts. After that I had the car back on the road for a couple of weeks when without warning it went onto limp mode (5mph flat out). Due to me not being happy with the previous garage and as I am lucky enough to work for an engineering company I let work have a look at it. They found that the fuel filter was once again full of rubbish and that the return fuel pipe was all clogged up. They cleaned out the pipe and replaced the filter, all ran well again for a couple of weeks and then the car went back into 5mph limp mode again. So I booked it in at a local Land Rover specialist, they found that the car had a fault code P2203 which linked too variable fuel pressure so they changed the high pressure fuel pump. All seemed OK for a day when without warning the car went back into limp again. So back it went again, this time the fuel tank and fuel filter was checked and both found to be clean. So next they checked the pressure on the injectors to see if there was any leaks, which there wasn't. So that brings us up to today where we are no further forward, the main problem seems to be that the fault is intermittent which isn't helping anyone.
so really I was hoping that you guys may have some ideas on what may or may not be wrong.
Thanks in advance

You need to have the codes read again and post them here. from what you have already said it may be a sticky turbo or clogged turbo vanes. It could of course be something else entirely, which is why the current stored codes are essential!

The previous problem history with water in the fuel etc seems at odds though.

Thanks , the only code so far has Benin the P2203, the only other thing I can think of that may be related is that it's an absolute pig to start as well.

You need to look at "live values" and the injector balance figures, preferably with a LR dedicated diagnostic tool such as GAP IID.
