Engine Flush?
Hi all
I am going to replace my engine oil as I am not sure when it was last changed it’s done 180k and I have had it 3 months.
Would you recommend adding an engine flush before I change it? Also If so what one do people recommend?Discovery 3 XS 2008 Manual Zambezi Silver

IHMO, never ever flush an engine! other than with the Factory recommended oil...
Flush solutions, Dissolve debris, which wil go to places were you do not want it first.....
Debris, will normally go to the lowest part of the engine, so if your engine needs to be cleaned, remove the oil, remove the belly pan and clean it... there will be gunk... mount it again, new oilfilter, fresh oil and ready..
If you do still not trust it... drive a few miles, refresh Filter and oil again...Best regards

No don't flush it, just change the oil and use a good quality 5-30 oil and change it every 6k mikes.
Use either genuine LR filter or OEM such as Mahle.
You should also investigate as to whether the oil pump has been upgraded with the modified pump. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

If you want to flush your engine safely just do another oil and filter change after a thousand miles.
Fresh oil has very good cleaning properties.
