EPB module removal from Disco 3 2008

Hi Folks
Problem with the EPB module screeching and reading the forums it would seem that the gears/clutch etc need to be replaced and I have purchased the parts in advance. My car is different to the the ones shown on YouTube and removing the spare does not give any additional access. The spare wheel cradle is different and no access can be gained into the rear of the module. Somewhat drastic, cut a hatch in the floor? anyone else experienced this problem?

If it's just screeching servicing the hub shoes/springs will usually sort it. Follow Bodsey's brake bible in the Wiki section.
The EPB is accessed from the front above the diff but if it still works service the hubs before attempting the module. Thumbs Up

Hi Thanks for the reply. New Ferodo shoes fitted and both cables are free and lubricated. The module is very difficult to remove due the spare wheel bracket and it cannot be removed.

It comes out through the drivers side wheel arch with cables attached.
