Programming Timed Climate Remote

All,

I have just bought a 2015 HSE Luxury 3.0 SDV6 with timed climate control fitted. As the car didn't come with one, I have purchased a new Land Rover remote (LR027493) and now need to programme it to operate the heater. According to the Owner's Handbook my local main dealer can do this, but from bits I've read elsewhere it seems possible to do this oneself - can anyone tell me how they did it?

Yes it can be done. You need someone with an IID tool to activate it. If you only have the remote itself, your going to need the receiver and aerial to make it work. If you find anyone who can help you with this, can you let me know, I’m in the same boat Thumbs Up

Sorry if I'm being thick - but why wouldn't the car already have an aerial and receiver? It was fitted with this system from new.

Mine was fitted with timed climate from new. But you can only operate it from the touchscreen. If you want to use a remote to operate it you need those three items
