Thank you. I am aware of that, however, many of the posts on the subject point to products that are no longer available.

I'd welcome any up-to-date views on products, options, things to avoid.

Advanced Factors stock them (or certainly did a very short while ago). When fitting they will only work a certain way . If they don't light up, turn the bulb 180 degrees and refit. They are polarity sensitive. I've got them on my 2007 D3 and they are a vast improvement.
Got them on all interior lights as well. Thumbs Up

Thanks Nige and Geoff. A search for LED bulbs on AF site returns nil results?! I'll check out the ones Nige recommended (after I've spoken to my mortgage broker!)....

Or don't bother with new bulbs, replace the whole unit:

Bought a pair of the led side repeaters when I failed to seal the originals, which were constantly drawing water. Higjly recommended, and completely waterproof.

Thanks. I had a good look at that link but you lost me there bud.. I don't see any simple sidelight LED upgrades?

Love the instruction on one product to put the light unit in the oven!

Just brighter sidelight bulbs, that's all I want, that are e-marked and legal...

Just get a pair of xenon head lights, they take seconds to fit and give the best light output of any car i have ever driven

Simple plug-and-play on a Disco 3, with no dash light warnings or loom changes required..?

Sounds good if that's how it works Smile

This topic seems to turning in a direction away from the title Wink

Even In the xenon headlight unit, these „sidelight“ bulps are still filament bulb candle–like lights...

And yes you can make them LED...

The earlyer mentioned/advised philips 5w5 T10 will do a great job..although i like the 4000k more In my xenons, because it matches the xenon colour (4300k) better
 Best regards
Harold
