Rear tailgate

I had an issue on my D4 tailgate so I replaced the micro switch and everything worked again hooray this was just before lockdown ,then ........today I thought I would open her up as it is very hot, nothing ,absolutely nowt ,so I got in the boot ,pulled the rear panel and managed to open the damm thing, checked the actuator on an outside power source,it’s fully functional, lock cable fully functional,I took off the rear boot handle assembly ,no trapped wires or other issues....so I’m left with a problem, basically there’s no trigger voltage getting to the actuator,it does work ,the micro switch is new and definitely works , I’ve put a voltmeter on the feed that goes into the actuator it’s showing 0 volts as the micro switch is being used ,I’m completely baffled, any ideas would be very much appreciated

Did you actually resolve your issue? I have exactly the same situation going on on my D3 and would be interested hearing from you. Thanks!
