Rear disk corrosion and hand brake sticking
I fitted some rear brake discs (non LR, but can't remember what make) about 2.5 years ago. Fitted as per bodsy's brake bible. Never had a braking issue when driving, but after being parked up for a while (more than over night, say a week) the handbrake would stick when setting off despite being released. Got used to gently lifting the clutch to get it to release. If hand brake is then put back on immediately it releases fine and does not stick. Park up over nigh and it still does not do it.
One brake disk is in a state:
The other better:
Note pictures taken after a while sat (lockdown).
Any one got any ideas on root cause? Recommendations on disk and pad brands?
Thanks,
Adrian

I ordered Brembo pads, disks and wear indicators as they were on sale at autodoc (some German car parts store) but beyond the brand I have no idea how they will last.

Surprised. Never seen that.
The parking brake maybe the shoe pivot needs greasing (when disc off )

Those disks look pretty well worn (ridges top and bottom), been in mud and water so have rusted. Replace as suggested but strip the hand brake bits and pieces and replace the shoes as well.
