There is also Disco Mikey in Dundee - excellent reviews but def not N Aberdeenshire.D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone
D4 2012 SDV6 XS - Stolen
D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny

Aye, ya ken? Whereād Ya bide ?
Plus one for DM in Dundee, worth the trip down for bigger jobs..
Avoid Dunecht, had nothing but issues with work they did on an RRS bought from them.
Kirkstlye are good but pricey, thereās also another good LR garage on the junction of the A920 and the B9001 but I canāt for the life of me remember the name..
Welcome to the Shire I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

A920/B9001 is George Hay, Drum of Wartle garage. Had some work done there in the past, he is a nice lad and does a good job, but not the most organised person.

Iām north of Ellon at Quilquox and take mine to Mike (MMP) at Dundee. Itās a trek but itās worth it. If you go take cakes. He likes cakes.
I go through mintlaw every day to work. If you ever need codes read I have a gap iid. I think can only read them as I donāt have the pro version.

That would be great if youāre passing through Mintlaw and could read the codesš. Iāve got the Hawkeye I use for the defender but it canāt read as much and be as detailed as the Gapiid I believe š³.

A wee update
Took the advice and went down to MMP today, I was all set for a day wandering around Dundee with all to do and ending up passing out on a park bench like a jakey somewhere waiting for the dredded call saying youāve bought a total heap and it needs loads of stuff doingš³. Barely got time to walk down and have a wander round B&Q, then round to Tesco for a pee and got the message thatās it sortedš. What a pleasure to get a garage thatās efficient, friendly and doesnāt charge an arm and a leg! Turned out to be chafed wiring and needed a new brake sensor that I sort of new about as there was a couple of wires dangling.
Will definitely be taking it down to Mike for anything needing doing and servicing( oh and I took cakes, my missus bakedš).
