| IID Tool phone Bluetooth Dosn't connect again |

I have owned a IID Tool for 6yrs now and I am sick of GAP and this tool not working with phones. Previously I had a Sony Z5 and the IID tool never connected to it in 5 years. When I contacted GAP they told me all phones are different and it was basically not worth their time to tailor it to every phone. Now I have bought a Samsung S10 and guess what ! One of the most common phones around and of course the IID Tool will not connect. My 3 yr old Bluetooth speaker has no problem connecting nor my 7yr old car stereo to either but then again that only cost me $120-$150 not $850 like the IID Tool. Every other Bluetooth device I have has no problem connecting.
I have to cart around an old dodgy Samsung tablet that has android 6 on it because it’s the only thing that connects to this piece of junk. Going to Google play-store to download the program for the new phone was full of negative reviews for the same reason. GAP needs to fix this issue, a lot of people payed a lot of money for this dinosaur.

Have to say im on my 4th LR connecting to the IID and around 5 different phones and around 3 iPads since I have had it - Everything has worked OK - its been mainly iPhones and iPads but also an Android tablet and all have worked OK (Although the Android took some working out to get the connection)
Why not buy a cheap iPad mini to use with it - often on eBay for next to noting these days
Hope you get it sorted
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

I just use Androind phones and tablet and never had a problem connecting to it.
Two Sony Xperia phones, one Samsung bottom end phone and a Lenovo tablet.

No probs with my IID BT with Nokia 2 in UK.
Try holding the phone upside down !! maybe 'cos you are in Oz,??
I'll get me coat.

Waste of time and money if they can't update it to work on Note 10 plus. Does not connect to phone!! Update this app please! £500 for a tool that doesn't work with a modern smart phone. Not happy with this!!!

Horrendous experience trying to update and get the thing to work. I'm sure once I succeed it will be a great tool. I'm on day 2 of perseverance. Wish me luck.......

Hi developers im using a huawei mate 20 pro so everything works perfectly except i cant read fault its keeps saying no fault found so i used a iPhone 10 to read the fault and it did read it

What a waste of £400 the tool didn't do half the stuff gap website said and it just kept crashing on the app everytime told to do something would have been cheaper for a garage to do the reset for me

will give 5 stars when it stops crashing, used on Samsung S4 tablet and Samsung Galaxy Note 8, both experienced the crashing but far worse on tablet

Doesn't connect to a Samsung Galaxy S9 but works fine on my A3 (2017). HELP!
