New dual mass question

Hi all, doing the clutch on my tdv6 2.7,ive not done a clutch or dual mass before so, 2 questions, does the flywheel have a specific orientation, ie when the bolt holes line up its done?
also clutch plate, which way does the shaft go? Long section towards box or engine. Sadly I didn't look when I removed it!

Yes the orientation does matter otherwise the locking tool will not locate and you will have to realign it again! Use new bolts as well or there is a high risk of them snapping.

The disc should be mounted so that the raised section of the centre spring damper faces the gearbox/pressure plate. The raised centre "Boss" side faces the flywheel.

If you are still in doubt I'll try find a pic for you tomorrow. Thumbs Up
