Expo Rack Fitted
Got my G4 Expo Rack fitted today, pretty easy job, managed to do it on my own. I used the packaging from the rack to mask the roof to prevent damage while lowering it into place and it worked a treat.
Looks 8) IMHO
Also managed to find a good solution to mounting the CB antenna too, used one of the lashing eyes to secure a small plate between the 2 roof panels. Fits really well.

Very cool , the alloy base with chevrons is especially good...as long as you are looking out of an upstairs window
Side repeaters work well too
I thought the extra roof bar thing at the front was G4 only, I am interested as my next one will be having the rack and I am keen to source the proper bits (including the alloy base)Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

This is a G4 rack, includes the ali floor panels and cutouts for the spotlights.
Devon 4x4 sell them with a very good discount to DISCO3 members
Just need to decide on lights for it, I want the Warn ones but they are daft prices, looks like it will be Lightforce 140's or Hella FF100's2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Hi All,
I've always been given to believe that antennae should be kept separated by some distance. Is it possible that the antennae setup shown will result in interference?
Best Wishes,
Peter

Well it wan't great yeterday when I tried it, lots of static interference coming through and very poor quality speech. Not run an SWR check yet but if it is in the wrong place could someone advise why please?2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
