| Timing belt tools, where to purchase & what needed? |

Apologise if this is buried somewhere on this forum, but I couldn't find it.
I found the required tool for HPFP locking tool from forum, this:

But what about the rest of tools? Will this camshaft locking tool for D3 2.7 work on D4 3.0?

Where could I buy:
- The crankshaft locking tool that go above starter?
- The tool to install crankshaft seal in oil pump?
- The tool to hold crankshaft when removing the front crankshaft bolt?
- Is there some other special tools needed?
I think it would be beneficial to have the required special tools listed in one string.
I'm not native English, apologise for the language errors.

Probably so, but I'm in Finland and the selection here is very limited.
If I buy from UK I have to pay 6% + 24% duty and tax, of course I
don't pay the UK 20% tax.
But will this kit work with Disco 4 3.0 engine?
There was on part not in the kit you linked.

The ebay kit works fine,just have to remove the plating from the flywheel pin circumference...to fit.

If you are doing the belts { front & rear} on a D4, then the only tools you need are the cam locking pins, if you want to be a bit more confident then the crank locking tool as well.
I never used either the crank tool or the rear cam locking tool on a D4, the rear belt has two white lines on it that line up with marks on the cam pulley and the hpfp.
As long as the you mark the crank position with both front cam pins in you should be fine.
If you find that with the pins in and the crank marked that the rear belt marks dont line up, just remove the pins and turn the crank till the rear belt marks line up with the two white lines and the marks on the hpfp and cam pulley. Then re-insert the front pins, the rear marks should line up.
If you feel confident all you need are two drill's the size of the cam pulley holes, I think they are 6.2mm from memory.

If you mean VAT you are only liable for VAT in one country, if you pay VAT in UK you do not have to pay it again. Import duty is not the same as VAT. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Flack; you're absolutely right, but you have done this several times, you have experience so you know
all the steps. Changing the timing belt in my 300Tdi Defender is easy, as I've done it several times.
(and I have all the required tools)
What about the tool to hold the crankshaft when removing the crankshaft front bolt?
And the tool to install the front oil seal in oil pump correctly? I plan to change the oil pump also.

Sorry, I meant with TAX = VAT. But this was so in the past, before Brexit.
Now we in the EU don't pay VAT in UK, but we have to pay import duty and VAT here.

Why they are the new standard oil pumps, if you are set on doing the pump then the crank locking tool is a must have for you.
