Got some leaks in the heat/AC dcuts especially the pones at the center console.
Has anyone replaced the foam weatherstrip like air seals in the ducts? If so what did you use. My leaks are really bad around the cup holders where the two ducts run down the Center console. 2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic

I used draught excluder self adhesive foam which comes on a roll about 1/2" wide, got it from my local hardware store.
When I replaced the heater matrix on the Disco 3 a couple of months ago I discovered that the duct joint foam adhesive backing was non existant so sent "Er Indoors" out to get a couple of rolls. The cost was peanuts and it did the job a treat. Relocated to Mid France from N. Wales March 2021

That was what I was thinking about. Noice to know a good size that will work so I can pick it up before tearing everything apart.
Thanks for the info. 2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
