Greetings from ............ Trip #2
And we’re off again, it’s the Big Rail Adventure this time.
Presently sat at home with rucksacks packed, ready to head to Vauxhall then on to the Eurostar to Brussels. That’s the start of a journey that will take us to Singapore for a 2 week break over Chrimbo & NY. All of it by train, apart from a couple of bits where there are no railways so one bus link and flying into and out of Myanmar. Then off to Oz for a bit of Road Tripping Down Under style.
Well that’s the plan.
Hopefully peeps won’t mind pics of various views, trains, foods and anything else that I think is worth photographing. Plus the odd irreverent observation, though not in Russia & PRC, I’ve promised SWMBO I’ll behave there.
Tonight we’re booked into a nice little hotel in Liege. Why Liege? The prices of hotels anywhere near Brussels Midi station are truely stupid so just moved to the next stop down the line that the ICE stops at, 1/3 the price of Brussels.
Will update peeps as we go.

Luckily it stopped peeweeing down for the walk to the local train. First of many train pics!! Equally luckily today isn’t a day they have decided to go on strike.
