D5 Commercial MY18 / MY20 |
|
Does anyone know what differences there are between a MY18 and MY20 commercial please.
I know the MY20 has the higher BHP but that’s the only thing I do know.
Thanks

The commercials may be different, but on the non-commercials from MY19 onwards you got the higher power twin turbo 3.0 V6 Diesel engine. full digital dash, Adaptive Dynamics became available as an option, new steering wheel with revised switches and I think the HUD was improved. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home

It’s always nice that someone else took care of the first hits to vehicle value in terms of depreciation... I mean if it’s a business decision and you’re tight with money which might be sensible in these times.

Look very similar in spec but not sure what model the first one is HSE?
One thing I would be a little concerned about is the electrically employable tow bar, I have heard of a few giving issues and needing replacing if not used regular.
Other than that it would appear to be down to budget and how much money you want to splash out.
Are they both dealer cars and if so which dealer, Aylesford, Sidcup or Ashford? That would make a big difference to me MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
MY12 D4 HSE Nara Bronze Sold and gone
MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone
D3 S spec Silver Sold and gone
Tow bar, full length roof bars, side steps, tow bar storage unit, surround camers.
