What did the Navy vessel think it was achieving? Were they hoping to intern the crew / make hostages or them and boat in order to get money? All very strange. And then the Venezuelan "government" called it an act of "imperial aggression". Oh yeah, all unarmed cruise ships owned/run from Western countries are always aggressively attacking armed naval vessels...
