Quick one for JMC Back tyre pressures
Just a quick question JMC, did not want to bother you with a PM.
I got a commercial, like you. Its always fully loaded, so I put the 60psi in back tyres, as says on door, but I find the ride is a lot harder. Could recommend any tyre pressures for a van
I don't have a LRSV commercial, mines an SE car without rear seats etc. 8)
Can't say I've ever looked at the tyre pressure stickers on the door but 60 sounds high to me
Perhaps someone else with a proper commercial could advise you better. BTW, mine is rarely loaded that full so I'd have no need for worrying about the tyres. Sorry I can't help more.......... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

60 psi would only be used when carring very heavy loads (probably nearly 2 tonne)
If you are carring a lot of weight then 45 to 48 psi is ok.
You need to keep enough air in the tyres to compensate for the
load and keep the sidewalls up and to make the car stable.Pete

Check the max pressure rating for the tyre - most are 55psi, the door sticker lists 42 psi for maximum load...

You were right, 60 psi are for a different tyre, 10forcash I read the door sticker wrong, it is 42psi. Guess I was still angry at having to replace a tyre with 4000 miles on it, because of a nail through the sidewall of my tyre. joiners, drop those nails everywhere.
Thanks for your help guys. Should be a smoother ride tomorrow
