Dull air intake and surround
Pretty trivial and only cosmetic issue. However, let me try to explain. There is an area of dull black trim below front screen that incorporates the wipers with a honeycomb section. Any suggestions on how to restore it back to black?

Some have tried painting it (spraying) but with mixed results. It is such a cheap plastic it does not respond well to treatment.
I bought a brand new one from Dan at Dusckwoths (late last year) and replaced it - takes not 20 minutes to sort and you can have a good clean-up underneath it at the same time.
Scuttle Panel was £80-00 inc VAT (if you have a budget for it). Part No. LLR096163 for an MY13 D4. Looks a whole lot smarter as I replaced the wiper blade arms at the same time.
ps You may need a wiper blade 'puller' to release the arms if they have not been off in a long time.

Scuttle panel? Lots of threads on here about it. Various variations on 'back to black', peanut butter, bacon (okay I made that one up). Or replace...2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate
