Whooosh sss noise (suspension) |
|
several times when locking the disco up I get this noise as above. Air being released under pressure?? and suspensions appears to move a bit.
Is this normal? or have I got a problem?

Mine does it also, so quite normal (I assume!). I seem to remember my TD5 did this at the back sometimes as well.
It is quite disconcerting the first couple of times it happens though

Just the car levelling itself. Our parking area at work is not too level , and it's amazing how many people crap themselves walking past

arh ha I see....nothing to worry about then
our drive way is on an incline with gravel to the nearside and tarmac to the offside at different levals. That will confuse it.
looked out the window this morning n/s and o/s there is a huge difference lets hope its the fart self level senor thing doing its bit.

AFAIK the car will wake up periodically to relevel itself . This can mean that if it stands for a few days on uneven ground that it will be quite a lot lower than when you parked it
