In Mid-July I’ll be looking to purchase a D4 to replace my trusty D3 HSE I’ve had for 9yrs.
I’ve decided to go for the latest, lowest mileage, D4 I can find instead of a new or nearly new D5 for several reasons.
I’m spending far more money on this car than I’ve ever spent on a car in the past, so I’ll, be holding out for the spec I want.
I’m looking for a very late D4, 2016 or possibly 2015 if it has very low miles.
HSE, HSE Luxury, or Landmark.
Euro6 with AdBlue.
Paint – Loire Blue, Montalcino Red, Waitomo Grey, Corris Grey, Scotia Grey.
I’d prefer Black/Grey wheels in any style, but really don’t like the S10 Style in Silver.
Although I know I can obviously change the wheels very easily if I want.
Interior - Dark Leather – NOT Almond.
I know the above colour choices limit my choice of Landmark vehicles that will be available.
I’m prepared to purchase privately, but the price will need to reflect me purchasing a decent aftermarket warranty package.

Saw while in the dealer that Jardine Motors in group have a approved used 2016 HSE Loire Blue, 40,000 old miles, 99% sure it was black interior too. But i think it was under £30,000.

Yep, think I've seen that one on Autotrader, many thanks for the heads up though.
I've spoken to a couple of dealers with cars that are of interest and they are a bit reluctant to accept a deposit now for over a months time, especially when I am honest enough to let them know I won't have the money until then
I suppose I was wondering on here if anyone was thinking of swapping their D4 in around that time and would want to do a deal now.
If nobody has anything I'll just have to do the normal thing and hit Autotrader etc when I'm nearer the time.

I'll double check tomorrow when I'm in my dealer, they had a Lux similar spec to mine but with Black Interior. Ridiculous sticker price of 37k, it had sold however I noted it was still there at the back of the lot two weeks later but can't see it online. MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Sorry Leeburn I didn’t see that you’d replied to this.
The answer is no, I had to put my requirement on hold due to the funds being delayed. A long Story!
And as of yesterday I’ve lost the second one that was being held for me.
Not because of the timing of my funds, but because for the second time the owner has decided to keep the vehicle instead of moving on to a D5.
I now have an almost definite date in Mid-November when I’ll be in a position to proceed, so my updated spec is below.
2015 or 2016 Landmark or HSE Lux
Must be EU6 with AdBlue
NOT Black or White on the outside.
All other exterior colours considered but with a preference for Blue.
Dark Interior – NOT Tan/Almond
Must have Meridian Surround – I’ve seen a couple of HSE’s that haven’t.
NO surround Cameras, just the reversing camera of course.
Under 50K miles.
Obviously it needs a FSH and should be in good condition as I’m in a position to be choosey.
I’m happy to travel to view and purchase.
No external mods like a Snorkel, rear ladder, or fitted roofrack(I’ll make my own rack)
If buying privately the price will need to reflect the need for me to purchase an additional warranty
If it’s already got timed climate etc activated for use with an Altox unit that would be a bonus.
So again, if anyone is thinking of moving on a D4 that fits the above in the near future please let me know.

Now in a position to buy, finally, and looking at a couple of HSE Luxs at the weekend.

Hi,
Not sure if you are still looking but I'm thinking of selling our D4, spec is:
May 2016 registered Landmark on a 16 plate
Full main dealer service history
Landrover extended warranty on it until May
53k miles
Rear pads replaced last week, tyres still have a good amount of tread left on them
Waitomo Grey
Spec (some may be standard):
Black Windsor Leather interior
Piano black finish
Remote operated fuel burning heater (keyfob operated or via the timer in the vehicle)
Cubby fridge
Rear seat entertainment
Meridian sound
Upgraded steering wheel - piano black, heated etc
Towpack with detachable towbar and storage
