The Foxwing was a collaboration between Oztent and Rhino Rack of Australia.
For various reasons there was a parting of the ways between Oztent and Rhino Rack.
The Batwing is compatible with the Oztents products.
Gstuart you can buy awning rail strips from caravan shops and attach it to roof racks etc. Please be aware there are at least two different sizes. Off top of my head the string used in Oztent caravan connectors is 6mm.

I use very similar pegs for hard ground. They work just fine. But since I carry an electric drill I may try these ones (also blue diamond, thanks for the tip!)
Or I could just go to a hardware store and get a bunch of long wood screws

+1 what leeds says
In German we call them Kederschiene. Don‘t know how to translate - sail track?
There are many Types with different diameter and angle.

Glad it was of use to
Blimey , don’t think that screw would come out in a hurry
Always remember as a kid going caravanning that had an awning and the amount of pegs that broke or found the hidden ones accidentally , with ur foot

The screws are long and go all the way in. No toe worries.
Similar like these

There is probably a 1001 different tent pegs on the market place. Put simply you can not carry a 1001 different types of tent pegs. The most important item is the one between your ears!
I have used in different situations, Harris fencing, tree trunks, rock and trees sliders, wheels on vehicle, spare wheel rims, tool boxes, 20 litre water containers, even used a big wooden wine barrel. If it will not readily blow away and can be placed in the approximately correct position use it!

It‘s obvious to me that if there‘s a bush or fence why should you need a peg? But I just hate the hard packed ground little rocks in it. It either destroys the peg or it just won‘t hold.
For 90% of camp sites it doesn‘t matter at what peg or tree you attach the rope.
Maybe I wasn‘t clear but it‘s the other 10% I‘m talking here: hard pack or sand, often found on beaches where the wind is usually strong. I just hate the hard ground with little rocks in it. It either destroys the peg or it just never seem to hold. On our last trip we unexpectedly had this situation often.
For me the power drill could be a solution worth trying. Anyway ... what was the thread topic again ?

I've been thinking about the rail for some time, rather than mounting a roll out unit just to add a bit more shaded area when out with the tin tent - and have used the cleaner/proofer on my caravan awning, which works well...
Interested to see what you come up with

Hi morgan
Bless and most appreciated , thk u
Have been thinking ref that rail and also will need to mount my solar panels I’m thinking that awning rail could be fixed on top of my rails,
So then if I fit the Land Rover rails on first , then some Z clamps for the solar panel , then lastly that awning section rail
As the Z fixings will be so I can use some stainless steel L shaped lengths across between the roof rails, allowing solar framed panels to be lower and not higher than the rails,
Have got some threaded plates that will side inside the Land Rover rail, as in using them for fixings
at the end of the day the rails I have are the short ones, so thinking it may be better to get the extended rails , allowing me abit more room for my solar panels and awning

Also with those bracket I have can then get something like what’s in the picture to fit the Box type side awning later on
Don’t know where as of yet where to get those black brackets
But in the mean time with the slide in awning rail that will at least till later give me some protection from the sun/ rain
Well that’s a bit of my theory anyway
Plus will fit some small leds lights
Apologises I’m digressing again and going off tangent ref the awnings
