Oil Pump for D3 TDV6
Go easy as a newbie and still learning about these and with anything all the info on the web is a bit overwhelming
We've just bought it and it's booked in for belt change next week, i'm aware its probably a very good idea to have the oil pump changed at the same time.
My question is which one is advisable to use, there is a bearmach one, read on here about a ford/citroen part???
plus read oil seal and crankbolt need replacing at the same time?
I've found this -
https://www.jgs4x4.co.uk/discovery-3-2-7-t...omoco-oem/
Is this the best as i see its strengthened.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the confirmation on that , i had read a lot about the ford part. How do we get discount give them a ring?
I assume if i ask regarding seal and bolt needed to go along with the pump they should know what i'm talking about?
A few pound saved as well by the look of it, happy days

Advanced Factors online discount code for forum members is AF4LRP.
Make sure you order the genuine LR pump and Genuine LR seal. The mechanic will also need the crank oil seal fitting tool, or there is a very high risk of buckling/warping the seal lip. Absolutely no lubricant to be used on the crank seal and the shaft must be bone dry and spotless. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Ideally a good idea would be to buy the whole kit (available from site sponsor Advanced Factors) , you'll then also get new tensioners and idlers. Although I don't think crank bolt was included, I think I bought this seperatley.
I also bought one of the cheaper oil seals (aswel as the Genuine one) as it came with a very useful fitting tool.

The genuine oil pump is the Ford oil pump as the engine is a Ford engine not a Land Rover engine. That link indicates it is the Ford oil pump so is what you want - the pic has the FoMoCo logo cast into it indicating it is genuine.
