Sticking handbrake

As title, not really a big problem at the moment but I’ve noticed over the past couple of months that the handbrake has started to stick a bit if left for a couple of days, feels like the shoes are stuck to the inside of the drum, quick blip of the throttle and it’s fine. Any suggestions as what to do? Seems to happen more when wet or if I’ve washed the car. Thank as always Lee.

After learning in the most expensive way you can, it sounds like it might need serviced/cleaned ? Do it before it makes the crunchy noises Shocked

Thanks, plan on replacing discs and pads soon, probably do the shoes as well.
