Camera reversed image
I replaced the upper tailgate handle a few months back After a few weeks the camera became intermittent and when it did work the image is reversed.
I stripped it back today and it's clear I'd unfortunately snagged the power wire to the camera, I've fixed this and now have a clear consistent picture however the image is still reversed
any ideas as to cause? some searching and a chat with Bodsy has suggested it's the camera unit itself that's developed a faultMark

On some aftermarket cameras the view can be changed by cutting a wire, I would examine the cable for further damage. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

thanks M3DPO, no other obvious damage and the only connections to the camera are the main optical, and black and red which I assume are live and earthMark
