ENGINE CHECK AMBER LIGHT + LOW ACCELERATION POWER

Hey guys, I have got my d3 2007 tdv6 to a spray garage as some
Idiot has bumped into my front door and been for about a week at the garage, when i got out of the garage an amber light just came on and when i hit the accelerate pedal the power is not as it used to be its very low abnormal as it used to be. Sometimes the angine check light turns off but the weakness of the gas its still there. Any one of you guys has this problem or know what it think it is please? Tomorrow im going to the landrover dealer to check with diagnostic. I spent my fortune on this disco always with somthing new Evil or Very Mad

could be the turbo vvt linkage stiff.

you access it thru the left wheel arch.

see what the fault codes say

It could be down to the bodyshop disconnecting the battery and not waiting for the electronics to go to sleep.

I would do a hard reset and try it again before you take it in to land rover and spend a fortune.

Had a similar problem when my 2007 was of fthe road for a few weeks, corroded Actuator arm on the Turbo - only caused it when turbo was kicking in - a decent amount of lubricant sprayed through a tube onto the actuator whilst working back and forwards with a hooked barbecue kebab skewer did the trick!
 Must stop buying shiny toys....
