Coming to a garage near Bolton? Turbo actuater rod?
So... the trusty D3 has a problem with what I suspect is the turbo actuator rod sticking. Starts fine but a pushbike could exit a junction faster than me, just chug chug chug up to a certain speed then off we go like normal.
I know it can't be the EGRs because they're already blanked, but strangely the IIS isn't reporting any related faults at all (though it does realise that there is a signal fault from the EGR which is what I'd expect), nor is there any warning given on the dash.
Before I do any more digging I think it would be the best option to grease the rod and see if that helps. Can anybody suggest an alternative plan, and equally importantly, is there anybody near Bolton who wouldn't mind me using their garage for an hour over the weekend as the weather is looking seriously grim (well, we are up north) '

previous owner had done a dodgy EGR blanking job. All sorted after having the job done again PROPERLY. Big thanks to Flack for the diagnosis/fix.'
