Talking of "that time of year again" I'm really looking forward to the "my car is smoking from under the bonnet" posts.

Just checked the other brands and they are all slightly lower now than when posted on 9th October so it must be a good time to buy before Winter price hikes. I am buying a set of the Coopers for my 19" at only £106.09 at Tyreleader.
EDIT Oponeo £103 with free delivery

tyreleader and Camskill are the sites I use to benchmark tyre prices. The independent dealer in Bristol that I've used for nearly 25 years now is usually cheaper anyway though and if not they'll price match.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

^ Always seems to make sense to let Google search as sometimes Tyreleader/Camskill/Oponeo may not be the cheapest.

Worth noting that the Grabber AT3 is also winter rated. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

It's coming up to that time of year again. Here's the list of winter tyres recommended by Land Rover for the D4:
Land Rover approved winter tyres
18 inch wheels 235/65 R18 110H Dunlop Winter Sport M3
19 inch wheels 255/55 R19 111V Goodyear Ultra Grip
19 inch wheels 255/55 R19 111T Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 SUV
20 inch wheels 255/50 R20 109V Continental Cross Contact Winter
while HKPL 7 SUV is still probably being sold the “top” model is HKPL 9 SUV which should in all respects be an improvement... higher price, more features, etc. not sure if you can get them without studs.
Getting 4 of them fitted on 19” wheels this week

It has the mountain snowflake symbol so meets the minimum legal requirements for a winter tyre.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Post edited as comment below now withdrawn - the AT3 has snowflake and sypes and it classed as a winter Tyre. (Thanks J@mes)
