Hi everyone
What’s the latest wisdom on replacement xenon bulbs for the standard adaptive xenons on a D3 HSE?
Mine are grey and not that bright now, so want to refresh them.
I want OEM colour really, not interested in blue or purple etc!!
Cheers
Will.

Check the ABD website. On-ramp night breaker whatever the latest incarnation is.
Expensive, but good stuff normally is!

OEM color would be around 4100k
Not 6000k
As far as i know, the Osrams have the correct color....

But beware of fake “osram” on the bay and other anonymous site’s.. Best regards

Well these are sold and dispatched by amazon themselves, so you’d hope they’d be sourcing them from somewhere legit otherwise that would be counterfeit - from amazon themselves.
Hids4u are out of stock otherwise I’d buy from there.
Anywhere else have them for £80-£85 per pair delivered?
Cheers

I replied to another post on this a week ago:
Quote:Another vote here for the Osram Xenarc Laser Nightbreakers. It was becoming obvious that driving at night in the Disco was getting hard work compared to our other vehicles, so I fitted one to one side only to compare the difference then parked on the side of the road at night and stood in front of one then the other (we have no streetlights round here). Difference was astonishing!
The ones I bought are currently 83.90 from Amazon.

Hope that helps

Just to complete this thread, I bought some Osram Nightbreaker Laser replacement Xenon D2S bulbs this week and fitted them.
When I went out last night for the first time in the dark with them the difference is incredible.
The original bulbs in my 55 plate (125k mile) car were clearly very past it. Yes they came on and seemed ok when stationary, but as soon as you got moving it was literally like someone turned the lights off as soon as there were oncoming cars. Really quite dangerous.
These new ones are 100% what I am used to with xenon lighting. The adaptive is much more obvious now too and they really have made a huge difference. Best upgrade on the car yet
