Land Rover admit to software problems on early D3's, and a batch of faulty compressors. All problems resolved alledgedly.

When we started this both Martin and I wanted a reply from Land Rover, that is why we took our time. It is also why we were upset over the item and its incorrect comments. When LR's reply came we were asked to give a reply to compensate, so Martin did the honours. Clearly LRO have chosen not to include his reply, scandalous.
Now everyone will see the problem of 30 second journalism and why we try to avoid making a big do about the D3 issues to papers, magazines or TV. The media is there to make money and even if it is on LR's side or ours, it is ultimately their last word that is printed.
Remember guys if you go to a newspaper or magazine etc with say a complaint about the D3, the journalist is the last one to care about your plight, no way. Be careful.

Far from it Martin... they probably decided to cover their arses and not pick on their main source of news. If you want to have a mag take up D3 issue fights we are better off with gutter press like AutoExpress and maybe the fine and upstanding Autocar.
Any LR mag is going to be on LR's side as its what they are about.

It's not unusual for journalists to do this, I do a fair bit of work with the financial sections in newspapers and the number of times they don't give me the credit or give it to someone else
Spent Wednesday dealing with the Mail on Sunday about IHT planning yet I bet when the article comes out this Sunday or next - there won't be any mention of Paul Griffiths DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
