Mass air flow replaced

I swapped out a MAF sensor after getting codes read. The red triangle warning cleared but the engine management light is still lit. Do I need to get the codes cleared again. The MAF fault was the only code.

Update: just took it out for a run and upon starting all errors are gone. Really strange that it took the third start after swapping parts to clear the last error. Made it work hard and stopped and started engine with no issues. Happy days
