Farewell!

The time has come to end my love/hate relationship with the Green Oval. For the past 15 years I have owned a 90 TD5 Defender, a D2 and currently a D3. However on Monday, my D3, which is currently behaving impeccably, will be part exchanged for a new vehicle. I now appear to be at that certain age when, although I absolutely love driving the D3, I want to drive somewhere and not always be worried what the next ‘bong’ will throw up.

So if anyone on here picks up a ‘currently’ behaving D3 HSE, DE08***, get in touch and I’ll update on all the things that have been fixed over the years of my ownership.

Also, I want to say thanks to everyone on here that has made ownership bearable and, through the wealth of knowledge, assisted me by fixing various faults......... I will lurk on here though if that’s okay, but, will I return to Green Oval- Who knows?

PS, BT IID tool up for sale soon!
 Best Regards,
Dave.

Beware Jumper...
I did that very same thing and found myself paying for an engine rebuild on a 3yr old perfectly sensible Skoda superb.
How silly did I feel.

Hi David, yes I was - always good to put faces to names!

TC / DSL hear what you’re saying but I’ve gone for a new Volvo XC90- realise it doesn’t always make financial sense to buy spanking new, but ............. Laughing
 Best Regards,
Dave.
