D3 Overlanding Rig- Early days
Hi,
Joined a little while ago, but never got round to posting.
Heres some pics of the D3 Metropolis we just brought home in late June. Ready to start its build into a more suitable vehicle for longer camping trips around West Scotland, and eventually over into Europe.....perhaps!

Its slotted into a garage of LR products. With a Vogue on one side and a 110 Defender on the other.
Seems the best of both worlds. More room that the Vogue, and less of a killer on the back than the 110.

Already lined up for body off restorations underneath, Suspension rebuild and no doubt some other essentials.
Heres some pics with the Ikamper fitted. 4 man roof tent.
Was a trial run we did to break it in a few weeks ago !
Also have the annex to match, and a LR day tent we will use.

Very nice looking Disco. I like it, that roof tent looks very useful. Mantec sump guard.
Prospeed tree slider/steps.
