QQ.
My local indy is doing some work on my D3 and one of the items it needed was a Front Wheel Bearing. I got the Timken bearing one from Advanced Factors (great bunch !) like this https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/kit637-o...7987-p.asp
However bolts supplied from AF are 8.8 rated and my indy says they should be 10.9 I checked with Advanced Factors and they checked and believe they are correct.
Just wondering if anyone else has noted this and what they have done ?
Cheers
Ids

The torque value for the hub retaining bolts is 115 nm. Therefore for the bolt size 8.8 grade is correct. If in any doubt goggle “bolt torques” and you can verify it. Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.
