Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and wondered if anyone could help with an issue with regards to my headlights, I've had my D3 for around 6 months now and I want to do a few upgrades one of which is to fit adaptive xenon headlights to my se model that currently has halogen headlights. My question is 2 fold ( 1 , can i simply plug in my new xenon adaptive lights and have them illuminate but without the lights moving when I corner ? ) 2nd question ( is there a kit that can be wired in to make the adaptive lights do all the functions that they should and if so where could I purchase one ? ). I appreciate that this has probably been covered so many times but I couldn't find anything to answer my first question or about a wiring kit.
Regards Kris

Don’t purchase adaptive as a lot of wiring and stuff is required.
Normal Xenons plug in though.

Hi, I already bought them . Will they illuminate if I just plug them in ? I know the turning aspect won't work.

Try one side and see if it points a similar level to the old type.

I chanced plugging them in and they seem to work fine, they obviously don't turn but to be honest I'm cool with that right now. When it gets dark I'll see how they are for alignment but fingers crossed they are ok, I'll look at getting the other parts at a later date so they function correctly.
