ok ... I've had enough. those flipping clips that hold the panel below the steering wheel that disappear into the void whenever the panel is removed.
does anyone know what the magic phrase is that I can type into an Amazon search and find the s ?
I'm currently on page 12 of the results and getting bored.
If I end up having to buy 10000 of the things, I don't care. I could always sell them on here at £5 each. .

if you look for Ford or VW clips instead of LR ... similar bent metal clips are TEN for £3.

These don't look too dissimilar and 99p gets you 10 of the very best Chinese steel copies delivered to your door (probably quicker than LR can get them)

Buy an old scrap D3, and turn it upside down, collect all the trim clips that fall out (probably hundreds) then re-sell on here to cover the cost of the scrap car … simples I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I reckon they must be collecting behind the trim panel to the right of the accelerator. Experience on previous cars is that if I remove it, it will never go back properly, so as long as they don't rattle they can stay there..
