[For Sale] 4 x 285 75 r16 BFG All Terrain KO2
4 superb condition BFG ko2 in 285 75 r16. In superb condition. For description purposes I will say all tyres have at least 10mm of tread but tread wise they are like new. They are at the moment on my Defender but they will be changed Saturday. They are superb tyres and I am only changing as I putting BFG muds on.
£380
Cheers.

I see this was a YEAR ago (!) but it you or anyone has these type of tyres for sale I'd be very interested!
Do you know off hand if wheels from a defender (which weren't for sale here I know) would actually fit onto a Discovery 4? Just looking at them they're both a 5-star bold pattern...

I think there are at least a couple of issues:
1. The wheels are only 16". Smallest fitted to a D3 were 17" (not sure about D4)
2. The weight rating would probably be too low.

I realise the rims are different sizes but I thought that the sidewalls were deeper and the outer dimensions of the wheels was the same?

Yes, the D4 is significantly heavier! My current D4 tyres have a load rating of 111. Those BF Goodrich tyres were marked 116 on the sidewall - so according to https://www.blackcircles.com/helpcentre/tyres/what-is-load-rating that's 1250kg per corner (should be enough!) right?

You can’t fit wheels smaller than 18” diameter to the D4 as they foul the brakes.

Ah, right, that's a non-negotiable!
I've also been reading another interesting thread on LandyZone where they were talking about the incompatibility of D2 wheels on the D3/4 as the centre spiggot is too big to fit through the centre of the D2 wheel.

Hi there,
I have a set of 5 wheels and tyres with BFG Mud tyres on, not sure of the size of wheels just now but came off a Disco 3. Tyres in excellet condition with loads of tread, wheels pretty good too.
Not sure if these are of interest? If so can get more details and photos after 3rd July.
