Engine Disco3 / 4

Guys, I want to build a test bench for Disco3 and 4 engines. I have rebuilt many engines here in my workshop and I need to put them to work outside the car. Has anyone seen anything like this or know of a control system I can do?

Short of a very expensive engine dyno, your best bet would be a 100kW generator and appropriate variable electrical load.

Not 100% sure the op was talking about a dyno. I took the query as ‘How do I get the engine to start outside the car’, I.e. some kind of standalone wiring loom Series one 1949 - in bits, chassis is strapped to the ceiling in my garage (beside the canoe)
LR 90 - In bits
Disco 3 - currently in bits
