Hi all
Hope you can help, might be my imagination but my drivers seat (manual GS) seems to be dropping down to the lowest setting, I pump it up every time I drive it, seems OK, get back in for the next journey and pump it up again, I presume there is a gas strut under the seat, is this a common problem, ta. Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Discovery 3 GS project, great, but manual, Gone.

Is it manual adjustment or electrical.
If electrical you may have lazy entry turned on that always reverts back to a saved setting for that key

There was an issue with them loosing height on the manual seats
I eventually had mine replaced under LR warranty after about 6 months of hassle back in 08on my GS as it had been upgraded to leather by the dealer and LR wouldn't replace it (fortunately it as the supplying LR dealer who did this so was eventually sorted)
The "test" they did to check if it was dropping was to Gaffer tape a piece of wood under the handle and leave it for a week to see if it was movement of the handle causing the problem, by wedging the handle up so it couldnt move.
From memory they swapped the frame and did a re trim on the seat leather as it had dealer fitted leather on the car. Must stop buying shiny toys....
