Leeds/Huddersfield/Pontefract/Manchester Area |
|
Ive bought a set of wheels a while back that need shifting.Willmyth has kindly offered to haul them back to Dublin on his way back from the Crossiere Blanche Event. He will be travelling from Dover up the A1/M1 north and then hanging a left over to the M62 heading for Holyhead ( 28 th Jan). The wheels are curently in the North Yorks area and I would like to get them as close as possible to Wills route. Is there anyone close by the above that could take delivery and hold them until Will calls by on the 28 th ?

DW, I'm next in Leeds on 21st & 22nd January. I could pick them up and bring them home with me. I'm about 5 mins from the M2/A2 which I expect Willmyth we be using to get from Dover to the M25. He could pick them up from my home or I could meet him on route if he's using the M20 to get to the M25....
Let me know.... The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

That would be excellent Andy.I'll contact the seller ( member here) and see if hes able to meet you on either of those dates and I'll get back to you ASAP
( I actually worked in Leeds & Manchester a few years ago for about 16 months, close to the City Centre)

Or to save your wheels from having to trek up and down the country I could meet the seller and keep them in my garage until Will passes by. I live within a mile of the A1 not far from the Pontefract junction.

Andy , been speaking to Will and he will definitely meet and pick them up from you.He is going to PM you to sort out that bit , time location etc
Discodad & Andy - I've emailed the seller and asked him it is more suitable to him to A) meet Andy in Leeds on the 22nd or B) Drop the wheels down to Discodad and then Andy picking them up from there to haul south ?
Ill keep you posted thanks again

More confusion!
I am near M62 j22 and could hold them, deliver to M62-side, but not collect from NY. Assuming the other 4 guys survive the month, I'll not wait up for the call!
Andy 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
