Defender 90 for Australia

Mrs NP rather wants a Tonga Green Def 90 2008 8)
Anyone got an ear to the ground or inside contact with LRA
that knows if this wheelbase is on the cards for this year.

The 2004 90 was a quickly discounted and disappeared importation
as I remember Rolling Eyes

Cheers

Neil.

Hi Neil,

I think they are now "Special Order Only".

Swmbo will kill me, as our family has become to big for a 90. Big Cry

A 90 is simply the most fun to be had in a LR off-road. Thumbs Up

Spent the day reading the Def2 Sister site;Puma section and others.
Many of these guys are D3 Blokes such as Andrew W, CFB etc.
The build quality and faults scare the s Censored t out of me !
What on earth is going on at the factory Exclamation
This may not be such a good purchase, either as 90 or 110.
We will reconsider the idea later in the year.
The Honda Civic lives another day Rolling Eyes

Hi Neil,

It is one of those emotional decision one makes from time to time. Yes the build quality is cr@p, but it is one of two vehicles I have owned where other owners actually wave at you, and the only vehilce where if you park it, other owners come to your rescue, and ask if everything is ok and whether you need help.

I have had 6 or 7 Defenders, and I loved it to bits, slightly more than my Series 3, a lot more than any of the D1 or any of the D2's or even the Rangie, and slightly less (now that I'm getting older) than my D3. Very Happy

BTW, look at my gallery to see some 90's I've owned.

Regards
Pierre

Hi Pierre,

Your gallery makes me real Mr. Green

I'm in a right dilemma.

I'll get it in the neck from Mrs NP if the vehicle is not
reliable -- she's been driving these never play up
Jap cars...Honda ..Toyota... for 20 years.
Since we got the Discovery 3 "Landy3" in November,Mrs NP has begun
to reminisce about the series 3 diesel from our
Leamington Spa days in the mid 80's.
It leaked all over the place, but never let us down once.
Hanibal was a wonderful 88 inch county with safari roof.

I hear you mate.

It's strange how Series vehicles and Defender's names jump out, but you really battle to find names for Disco's.

Very Happy
