265 60 18 traction control

Dont know whether is or isn’t an issue .... due to an offer I could not refuse have had new Continental Cross Contact tyres fitted ....265 60 18 , noticed that on spirited driving through bends , momentarily, traction control lights and can feel abs kick in for about a second . Searched forum and on others advice set fronts at 36psi and rears 40 psi , only myself and my dog travel in car ....is this anything I should concern myself with or just what comes with fitting non standard size tyre ?

Do bear in mind its a 2.7 tonne brick, not a Hot Hatch!
Whilst they do handle surprisingly well for such a tall, heavy car, they were never meant for hustling around windy roads.

.....yet wife’s 4 on oem 20” wheels and tyres takes same roads like a hot hatch , maybe I should be more cognisant of my 3’s age and mileage ( 2007 210k ) poor girl Smile

I have 265 65 18 on my D4 with no noticeable problem, although they don't grip as well on tarmac as the 20" pirelli scorpions I took off, so I actually expected more TC action than I get... Maybe it's just a grip thing?

Think I will take it easier and hope with a few more miles on the tyres things get better .
