Cheap Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS

I’ve been looking about at tyres which would fit the truck, something more modern than Pirelli scorpion zero. Our Q3 runs Verde AS which I like a lot. The truck has 20” wheels and takes 255/50/20 tyres. I was looking at prices of these and the best I found was tyresonthedrive around £188 each fitted. The trick to get these shown is to type in the registration plate of a new Range Rover which use Scorpion Verde All Season as standard fitment tyres. (I go on autotrader and find a reg number on there). For some reason if I type in my reg plate into tyresonthedrive I only get Scorpion zero as a choice no verde AS. Given they’re about the same price I’d opt for the newer rubber any day of the week.

I’m a fan of all season tyres as no real need for sports tyres on a big heavy truck and not needing faff about with winter tyre changes.

Hope this helps.

I’m not looking for replies, just sharing what I’ve learned as I thought it might be helpful to save people money when buying new tyres. Very Happy

Sorry, I’ve just realised the new Range Rover takes a 55 profile not a 50, so I guess those prices aren’t right. I think the going rate is around £212 per corner as of February 2019 at Blackcircles.com fitted price but tyreleader even better at £175 but you’ll need to find a local garage from the list to fit them, and I’d recommend you call them up first to check they’re happy to do it.
