| Dead Battery..... I think |

Hi all
Think for some unknown reason the battery on my car has died, I cannot get the car to unlock and to my eternal shame the near side lock does not work either.
I understand there may be a way to get under the bonnet without causing damage so I can check the battery. Obviously I understand it has not been put out in open Forum for obvious reasons but if someone could message me privately how to do it I would be grateful.

if you have a towbar white plug, (under the cover) you can also apply power
pin 3 -
pin 4 +
then press fob to unlock doors
also apply wd40 to lock while you wait

Well after confirming there was power to the battery and after many hours on the forum and a deliberately broken near side window I believe the problem was with the 3 green wire splice.
It’s all working well so far on a temporary fix so fingers crossed.
Once again I am grateful to this forum for helping me solve another problem.
